Candy is wonderful. Candy is our favorite. Who doesn’t love candy? BUT does anyone else look for alternatives when it comes to holiday parties at school? With so many kids in one classroom, it can get to be sugar overload. Some schools even encourage looking for candy alternatives. We’ve put together 6 Easy Non-Candy Printable Valentines for you to download in our Free Resource Library.

Valentine Mazes

This design file contains 3 separate options for you to choose from; easy, medium, and hard. Each option will print four of the same maze to one page. You simply need to cut them out and write names in the to and from section. These pair nicely with pencilscrayons, or makers.

Sticker Valentines

Stickers are always a favorite with the younger crowd. This file includes two valentines that say “Let’s Stick Together” and two that say “I’m Stuck on You” on each page. We used a small sticker pack from Dollar Tree and the box fit just perfectly. The box was attached with double sided tape, but you could just as easily staple some individual stickers to these.

Valentine Word Searches

These Valentine Word Searches offer three different levels of difficulty just like the mazes. Each page has four of the same word search. You only need to print them out, cut to size, and add names to the to and from section. Also like the mazes, we think pencils, pens, color crayons, or markers would be fun to give with these.

Spring Valentines

This file has one of each of the Spring Valentine variety per page. To attach the spring, you will need to use a craft knife to make two small vertical slits, one on each side of where you want the spring. Affix one side of the strip of paper to the back and feed it through one slit to the front. Slip the paper strip through the middle of the slinky and back through the other slit and attach it snugly to the back. We suggest double sided or regular tape to secure the paper strip.

You Make My Heart Glow Valentines

Will glow sticks ever lose their appeal? We don’t think so! This file has four valentines per page, each in a different color. To attach the glow bracelet, we simply used a single hole punch to make two holes. Then we just slid the bracelet through. You could always just tape it if that is easier for you. We think the kids will really like these.

You Blow Me Away

Bubble are a wonderful alternative to candy because everybody loves them! This simple design features a page with 12 individual tags. You only need to print them out, cut them along the outline, and punch a hole using a single hole punch. We used simple string to tie them to the bubbles but you can get as fancy as you like to really dress it up.

Tips for Printing

All of the Valentine files listed here will have both a PDF and a PNG file for valentine type. You may absolutely print these at home. Our favorite method, however, is to use a copy service from Office Depot. This ensures the color comes out evenly and you will be satisfied with the final product. We chose to print on cardstock to make the valentines more rigid. When ordering, we chose the option to “fit to page” to guarantee none of the photo would be cut off.

We hope you like these ready made printable valentines. As always, if you use our designs we would love to see what you’ve made. Tag us in a photo or share it to our Facebook page.
