About the Puzzles
This free printable PDF contains three Thanksgiving word search puzzles. The easy one is perfect for early learners with very simply spelled words and placements. Words will only be found reading from left to right and top to bottom with nothing spelled backwards or diagonally. In the medium level word search, words are a bit more challenging and can be found in all directions including backwards and diagonally.
Finally, the hard level word search contains much more challenging. No matter the group, there is something for all levels of learning. Words used in the puzzle center around food, family, and gratitude.
How may I use these free word searches?
If you are teacher, I would love for you to use these in your classroom. Homeschool groups are also welcome to use these during Thanksgiving parties. Parents, feel free to give these to your own children or use them at the kids’ table with your youngest guests. You are free to direct your friends to this page so they may download it themselves, but you may not distribute the puzzles yourself. To create your own crossword puzzle, you can use the same template I did, found at Sadie Smiley.
